The world's wackiest Volkswagen is back in action in this family
comedy. Maggie Peyton (Lindsay Lohan), the first Peyton to graduate
from college receives a graduation present from her dad (Michael
Keaton). But instead of a 250Z, she instead receives a Volkswagon
Bug (Herbie) who soon takes over all of Maggie's driving. After
having her best friend Kevin (Justin Long) restore Herbie, she goes
to the car show and beats all-time racer Trip Murphy (Matt Dillon).
He demands a rematch and attempts to discover the secret behind
Herbie. After losing a big race to Trip because of Herbie's
stubbornness, Maggie enters the Daytona 500. But will Herbie win?
This is" "the only screenwriting guide by two guys who have
actually done it (instead of some schmuck who just gives lectures
about screenwriting at the airport Marriott); "These guys are proof
that with no training and little education, ANYONE can make it as a
screenwriter" (Paul Rudd).
Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon's movies have made over a
billion dollars at the box office--and now they show you how to do
it yourself This book is full of secret insider information about
how to conquer the Hollywood studio system: how to write, pitch,
structure, and get drunk with the best of them. Well...maybe not
the best of them, but certainly the most successful. (If you're
aiming to win an Oscar, this is not the book for you ) But if you
can type a little, and can read and speak English--then you too can
start turning your words into stacks of money
This is the only screenwriting book you will ever need (because all
other ones pretty much suck). In these pages, Garant and Lennon
provide the kind of priceless tips you won't find anywhere else,
including:
- The art of pitching
- Getting your foot in the door
- Taking notes from movie stars
- How to get fired and rehired
- How to get credit and royalties
And most important: what to buy with the huge piles of money you're
going to make
"Writing Movies for Fun and Profit" will take you through the highs
and lows of life as a professional screenwriter. From the highs of
hugging Gisele Bundchen and getting kung fu punched by Jackie Chan
to the soul-crushing lows of "Herbie: Fully Loaded."
Read this book and you'll have everything you need to make your
first billion the old-fashioned way--by "selling out" in show
business
A portion of the authors' proceeds from this book are being
contributed to the USO of Metropolitan Washington, a private,
nonprofit organization dedicated to serving active duty military
members and their families in the greater Washington, DC, region.
Adventure comedy sequel starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Amy
Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria, Bill Hader, Ricky Gervais and
Steve Coogan. Stiller reprises his role as Larry Daley, the hapless
security guard who encounters living and breathing museum exhibits.
This time round, the Museum of Natural History has been closed for
renovations, and the museum pieces moved into federal storage at
the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, where the collection
includes artefacts associated with many of the great figures of
American history including Theodore Roosevelt (Williams), Amelia
Earhart (Adams), General Custer (Hader) and Al Capone (Jon
Bernthal). Larry must infiltrate the museum's tight security to
rescue Jedediah (Wilson) and Octavius (Coogan), who have been
shipped there by mistake.

Comedy starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Mickey Rooney and Dick
Van Dyke. Larry Daley (Stiller) is a kind-hearted dreamer who
always knew that he was destined for greatness, he just never quite
knew how. None of his ideas or inventions have panned out so, with
a heavy heart, he takes a regular job as a lowly graveyard-shift
security guard at the Museum of Natural History in order to provide
a more stable life for himself and his ten-year-old son, Nick (Jake
Cherry). On his first night on the job, however, he finds that
guardianship of the museum is far from stable. At nightfall an
Egyptian spell brings the artifacts and wax figures to life. With
Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher) charging to war through the
hallways, the diorama miniatures embroiled in a deadly feud, and a
two-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex nagging to play fetch, Larry turns to a
wax replica of President Roosevelt (Williams) for a little advice
on keeping things intact.
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
Robin Williams stars as difficult actor and husband Daniel Hillard who separates acrimoniously from his wife (Sally Field) and receives a court order limiting his visits to his children. As a result he dresses up as a Scottish nanny and gets employment with his ex-wife looking after his own kids.
Toys (1992)
When a benevolent toymaker dies, he leaves his factory in the care of his army general brother (Michael Gambon), until his son Leslie (Robin Williams) is mature enough to assume control. The General, however, re-structures the factory, and in a break with tradition begins to manufacture war toys, many of which, Leslie discovers, are more than playthings.
Night at the Museum (2006)
